The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. It is a great robotic cleaner and mop, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets.
