WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any weapon, tool or armor. button, which will show an image of the item when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The account-wide discount is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
