The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a range of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.

You can, for example ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are superb as the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only problem is that it is known to smash into objects and walls at full speed. However looking at the cleaning history on the app will reveal precisely what the robot has done, where it is moving, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.

The docking station features a handy LCD screen that shows the time when maintenance is required, such as emptying debris and washing the dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the tank by itself with a 600ml of eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode. The vacuum can last 136 mins in standard mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. You can also view the full cleaning details in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easily understood however we would have liked to be able to distinguish between a vacuum and mop clean, when looking at a clean area in the cleaning history.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot vacuum and mop. The model this year has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power which allows it to remove smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners could miss.

As with the other two Roborock models I've tried the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which helps it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by having a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they are an object that is a wall or a different surface. It can then automatically change its path and clean the objects without a pause.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, however, it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek, angular design is eye-catching and it has only three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button to return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin auto-refills.

The only issue I encountered in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to take the mount off to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track battery life. But you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering how well it performs otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

It can be controlled using the Dreame app or with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.

The app is intuitive and user-friendly and the X40's clever features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, see floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also track its progress, and alert you when it is finished.

The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous features that make it an excellent option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, and refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It can also detect when the mop pad is full and notify you when it gets overflowing, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot vacuum cleaners best is one of the most expensive models available. It does have many characteristics that make it stand out. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and has an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and other small dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.

The mop is cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen on other robot vacuums best vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.

There's a wealth of settings available that include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a number of different preferences. These can be set via the app, or via direct buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning routine, and there are many functions that other robots don't include, for instance, the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of using an individual setting.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks elegant and elegant. It's heavier than some of the other two-in-1 robots on this list - at around 4kg but it's not too heavy, Vacuum Mop Cleaner Robot and is sturdy and well-built. The mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors and in corners. They can also extend up to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
